Present Laughter

directed by Angie Langfield and designed by Norman Coates, at Embassy Theatre, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, 22 - 25 November 2017

Present Laughter was the first public production of my second year at university. I was part of the scenic art team, led by Alice Olley, working with five others to realise the design. I helped to paint all of the set elements in part, and took on two personal projects; repairing and finishing a vintage mirror and painting an Art Deco mock-Grecian vase.

The floor had a dark wood parquet effect finish and a painted floor cloth based off an Art Deco design. The walls had a light spray finish, and the banister included some gilding.
